The Role

We are looking for a Development Administrator to join our team on a permanent basis. The role is based in a fast-paced chilled food environment, which requires initiative and an ability to “think on your feet”.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative tasks for Riverside, Tottle & Dorset sites within the development department, working closely with the Specification and Packaging Manager at the Riverside site and adhering to the Addo Food Group and Customer COP and expectations.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Effective delivery of the NPD process from concept to launch in line with customer category plans and Pork Farms agenda as directed by the Development Controller.
  • Working in a team with the Group Development Manager, NPD Managers, Innovation Chef, NPD Technologists, Development Technologists, Specification & Packaging Technologist and Development Technicians. Communication on site at Riverside with wider departments and also cross site communication with other development teams.

The Successful Individual

To be successful in the role, you will have the following required skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications:

  • Previous experience of customer specification systems
  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Food Legislation.
  • Ability to understand the factory processes
  • Problem solving techniques.
  • Competent in the Microsoft Office suite of applications
