NPD Administrator

Type: Permanent - Full Time
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8.30am to 5.00pm & Fri 8.30am to 4pm - 3
Salary: £Competitive

Palethorpes business produces chilled savoury rolls, savoury hot pies, pasties and slices. The business has been producing products in this category since 1852 and innovation is high on its agenda. Palethorpes has a strong culture of consumer insight. This is underpinned by in-depth food knowledge, with dedicated on-site development chefs working on new products that are driven by food values and quality.

We are currently recruiting for an NPD Administrator to work within our site NPD department.

Your Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): 

  • Booking couriers on behalf of the NPD Managers and keeping a well-maintained record of all courier activity
  • Obtaining Factory samples for the NPD Manager and Development Chefs
  • Maintaining up to date spreadsheets to monitor department finances
  • Obtaining benchmark samples for taste panels and customer submissions from the factory or despatch
  • Booking Brandbank orders and support imagery and data approvals on their website
  • Completion of customer spreadsheets
  • Co-ordinating benchmark panels and uploading findings to retailer portals
  • Challenge current practice to maximise the effectiveness of your department

What we are looking for:

  • Experience using Excel and other Microsoft packages
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong Telephone manner
  • Numerate/Literate
  • Team Player
  • Accuracy & attention to detail
  • Administration Experience

Hours/ Days - Mon-Thurs 8.30am to 5.00pm & Fri 8.30am to 4pm - 39 Hours
