Salary: £9.27 an hour
Dorset Foods is focused on the savoury egg and cooked cocktail sausage categories and has its own specialist manufacturing facility and development team.
The business strategy is strongly focused on innovation and reinventing the Scotch egg category. Most recently, this has resulted in the ability to maintain a runny centre in a warm-serve, cooked egg product, which has initially been brought to market by M&S.
Dorset Foods is home to the recently developed Scrummy Egg brand, which will encompass a family of products that are based on this unique ability to produce a runny or soft-set-centred boiled egg that maintains this quality even when re-heated.
The business supplies Scotch egg products into Asda, M&S, Tesco, Morrisons and the convenience channel.
In a busy factory enviroment, we require individuals who can demonstrate the following:
- Excellent written and spoken english
- Numerical ability to record and analyse data
- IT literate (MS offcie tools)
- A keen eye for detail
- The ability to work underpressure
- Effective communication

Night Hygiene Operatives – Perm / Temp to Perm roles
Shift Pattern: 5 days on/ 2 days off, Monday to Friday
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 22:00 – 06:00
Working Hours: 36.65 hours per week (8 hour per working shift)
Break: Full time employees are entitled to 1 x40 minute break
Hourly rate of pay: £9.27 per hour
Weekly Shift Premium: £65.00 per week (pro-rata’d for the hour’s not worked due to absence or unauthorised absence)
Annual Leave entitlement: Will be 33 days per annum (242 hours). Bank Holidays are normal working days. The only exception is Christmas Day and New Years’ day when the business is closed. If a Bank Holiday is worked then it will be paid as normal rate as you have been compensated within your holiday entitlement for these days. All holidays must be booked in advance and signed off by your Manager.
